Famous for his marathon shows that only left fans wanting more, he decided to release a 3-CD live retrospective after the tremendously successful "Born In The USA" tour in 1984-'85. Just like his shows, the box set was a three and a half hour set of hits, fan favorites and even some unreleased material. Disc One starts with his early material, like "4th of July (Sandy)" and "Thunder Road". The set continues with a somber set of acoustic tunes, mostly from the Nebraska album. The set rounds out with several tracks from the Born In The USA album, and some unreleased songs like "Because The Night", as well as his great anthems like "Born To Run". If you can't be there, this is the next best thing. -------------------- |
