Notes
This album was written over the last two years on and off the road. I went into a tiny studio in Fulham, from eleven in the morning until six in the night and made demos of the songs with our live recording engineer Jim Lowe. After a few months a lot of ideas formed and I got together around fourteen songs I liked. Every song was recorded in the same way. Very spontaneous very raw and very fast. A song a day. A lot of this record includes takes from the demos. The vocals from 'Rainbows and Pots of Gold', 'Madame Helga', 'I'm Alright' I've only ever sang them once, and that procedure or pattern or vibe or whatever you wanna call it continued throughout the making of the album. That's what was important to us. We wanted to make a record that was from the heart about music and about soul! We got together as a band and rehearsed the demos at Stuart's garage a week before going into the studio. It was an amazing time. The session was a ball... and I think the album shows it. It's from the heart and we hope you like it. Be lucky... Kelly Jones All songs written and produced by Kelly Jones. Engineered by Jim Lowe.
